Future Prospects

Southeast Asia is an emerging market with fast-growing economy and also a region with abundant cultural asset and biodiversity.  Taiwan as a neighbor of Southeast Asia is responsible for the development of this region and encouraging more young people with interdisciplinary professions to pursue their careers in Southeast Asia.  This master program aims to prepare postgraduates to become social entrepreneurs with transnational mobility and concern for humanity.  Graduates will not just get employed after graduation.  While engaging in capitalist economic activities and making profits, they are expected to help Southeast Asia to grow with sustainable development goals, which can be achieved by: changing oversea Taiwanese enterprises’ images and business models; innovating oversea Taiwanese enterprises with social corporate responsibility and stronger connection with local communities; assisting public and private sectors in Taiwan to transfer best practices and skills to Southeast Asia.  They can help developing countries to develop with their expertise and create more public value for the societies in Southeast Asia.
